Tori Seng

 Background

Ms. Seng joined Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC as an Associate Attorney in October 2024.  Ms. Seng’s practice areas are primarily focused on estate planning, probate, business, and transactional law.  She advises clients in preparing estate plans and tailors Wills and Trusts to facilitate their individual needs.  She also assists families in handling the estates of their loved ones and navigating the complexities of Kentucky’s probate system.

Ms. Seng is also well-versed in business and corporate law.  She has experience in business succession planning, forming, organizing and structuring limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations, and drafting operating agreements, bylaws, contracts, stock restriction agreements and buy-sell agreements.  She also has experience in advising libraries and non-profit boards.

Ms. Seng’s practice also involves real estate and property law.  She facilitates residential and commercial real estate closings, and assists clients with property law issues, including landlord-tenant issues. She is experienced in drafting real estate purchase and sale agreements, contracts, deeds, promissory notes, mortgages, and leases.

Personal

Ms. Seng was born and raised in Fulton, Kentucky, and currently resides in Paducah, Kentucky. Ms. Seng is a proud UT Martin Skyhawk and has strong ties to Union City, Tennessee.  Prior to law, Ms. Seng worked as a journalist and librarian, and earned a Master’s in Library Science at the University of Kentucky.  She discovered the legal field during a law library internship, and found law was the perfect career – melding together research, problem solving, and helping others.

In her spare time, Ms. Seng enjoys reading, attending theatre productions, travelling, and cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats.
