Workers’ Compensation Law

The firm advises and defends employers of all sizes throughout Kentucky in workers’ compensation proceedings.

In addition to litigating claims, attorneys direct accident investigations and perform functions of case assessment, risk management, accident prevention, education and claims administration.  Attorneys have given numerous presentations to employers, large and small, regarding best practices to reduce workers’ compensation risks. They appear regularly before Administrative Law Judges across the state, and handle appeals before the Workers’ Compensation Board, the Kentucky Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Kentucky as well as Longshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act claims.

The group is led by highly experienced firm Member and Managing Partner, Chris Hutson, and supported by Member Darren Smith and a dedicated team of paralegal  staff.
